Maybe because it is the more mysterious village and one of the powerful, don't you remember such ninjas as Dosu, Zaku or Kin ?

Another reason is maybe the impression they gave to the konoha's team the first time they saw them or the strange weapons they used,...

I have a lot of reasons to admire them

The real reason was that I loved their gear and my first character must have those gears. Now I remember that Dosu and cie (his "sound" weapons) are from Otoh. Damn what a mistake!! How did I make it ??
